TRINITY ONLINE February 20! Tenting with God
/Here is your weekly ONLINE WORSHIP offering! This week in the Narrative Lectionary/God Story we continue with the Gospel of John. John has talked about "Born Again","Living Water", and "Bread of Life". Today the author pulls together some of those themes and reminds us of the central idea behind them all....God's Presence. At the beginning of the Gospel the theme is set out,"And the Word became Flesh and Dwelt among us." A Very Very specifice word is used which is translated as "dwelt" or "abide"...but those translations don't capture the full impact. The word is "skeenee/skeeno" which literally means "pitched a tent". Living in a tent is very different from abiding in a house...with implications all around.
