Our Narrative Lectionary Series on the Sacraments continues. Today we journey to 60 AD and the Christian Group in Corinth. Christian Community looked a bit different then. There was a strong sense of sharing everything and that ALL would be treated equally. This was lived out in what was called the Agape Meal; basically a Potluck where everyone brought what they would have had for dinner and all share. Then at the end Communion would be celebrated.
