Baptism of Jesus-January 10
/Hello All! Here we are again with Trinity’s Online Worship Service for January 10th, 2021. Luke 3. Jesus is 30 now and his cousin John is preaching out in the Jordan wilds. Looks like he (John) is part of a branch of Judaism looking for an apocalyptic future with a fiery bend. He’s telling folk now is the time to get their lives straight; be baptized to wash away your “uncleanness” and live a life of justice. But it doesn’t work out the way John expects. Cousin Jesus from Nazareth is baptized, and some extraordinary things happen. While praying Jesus hears a voice and sees God’s presence settle around him in an image from creation, where God hovered over the waters. Jesus’ ministry begins
