We gather in the Prayer Garden around a new fire…then walk into the Sanctuary to tell the stories about how God has walked with us all through time. At the end of the service we break into a Sanctuary Decorating Party for Easter!
EASTER! Christ is Risen! Risen Indeed! Not even Death can hold us captive. Balloons, Joyful Songs, Trumpets…all help us be a part of the Wonder of God’s never-failing Love!
Little ones (zero to three) will have a special area of lawn by the Front Entrance. Other children will have an Egg Hunt area curling around the east side of the building. Treat bags for all!

Here is you online Word/Thought to Ponder/Music for this weekend. Matthew continues to teach us though parable, Matthews style of parable. Interesting that in Matthews' context he was dealing with a people already divided. In a Jewish communities, was Jesus the Messiah? Was he more? Was his teaching something that moved people beyond Judaism...etc. etc. etc.. So its no wonder that much of Matthews imagry has to do with One Group on one hand and Group Two on the other. But at the core of this parable is an unambiguous word..."Whenever you DID it to the least of these, my brothers and sisters, you did it to ME."

Here is your online Trinity service for March 19. Once again Matthew's parable are not so much a free and open parable, but rather a direct message to his particular community. In this case Jesus' expected imminant return had not happened as planned and so the community is told: make sure your spiritual "well" is stocked and stay alert!

Hello All! Pastor Wes will be traveling to Seaside Oregon tomorrow for a Preaching Conference. We are so lucky to have Pr Dawna Svaren who will be our guest preacher and presider at our "in-person". She will be preaching on the same text: Matthew 5...the Beatitudes. This video is what jumped out at me...she will probably have a completely different angle. The Spirit herds him off into the wilderness where he is tested. Every on of us is drawn to a "bright shiny object", someting that pulls us away from being our best self. Jesus' temptations were real...1. Be a Bread King...not only feed yourself but the whole world...but his ministry is more. 2. Glory...have people worship you...WOW! Everyone thinks you're the greatest...magic and miracles... NOPE. 3. Power. The leader of the world. Armies, Economics, the Ability to MAKE people do as you wish....NOPE. How would we fare?
